City for people: Safe pedestrian crossings are increasing in Tashkent
Since March of this year, specialists of the Road Traffic Organization Center have established more than 70 new regulated pedestrian crossings in various districts of Tashkent.
A professional approach stands behind every decision: specialists studied the intensity of traffic and pedestrian flows, identified potentially dangerous areas, and developed the necessary engineering solutions.
In places where people previously had to wait for a convenient moment and cross the road through the flow of cars, separate traffic light phases have now been introduced for the safe and orderly movement of pedestrians.
Work on creating safe pedestrian infrastructure in Tashkent continues consistently.
